The Lawyers Co-Ed
Indoor Soccer League, now in its second season, is a great recreational
activity for the whole firm. In addition to competitive soccer,
there is a relaxed social aspect to the League which fosters
great team camaraderie. The League, which is divided into the
Advocates or competitive division and Recreational divisions
so that all levels of play are accommodated. The league features
two Futsal 5-a-side indoor seasons.
Futsal is a sport that is a derivative
of soccer and played with five-man teams on a basketball style
court, with no walls and a low bouncing ball. Great soccer superstars
such as Pele, Zico and Ronaldo grew up playing the game and credit
Futsal with developing their skills.
